February has had more hours of good generating winds and virtually no calm periods
evident by the fact that in the whole month there were only a total of 8hrs. in which
there was no service supply. The 60kW turbine was out of service for a total of 29.5 hours
in the month, 20 of which were accounted for with the machine being manually shut down due
to storm conditions. The 10OkW turbine was out of service for 29 hours in the month. False
dump overload trips totalling 8.25 hours made up part of this time but since operator
adjustments to the relay overload have been carried out, no more false trips have
occurred.
