Shetland Arts Trust commissioned dancer Andy Howett to come in to Fair Isle for a Dance Workshop with the school children.

They certainly enjoyed an exciting day trying out Break Dancing, Hip-Hop, others like the Dog Dance and King's Jut - even a frenetic game of "Shipwreck".   

Their parents, after a helpful warm-up and work-out, were introduced to energetic Salsa dancing in a hectic evening session!

There were certainly a number of stiff people the next morning, but luckily Shetland Arts Trust had a more sedentary - though perhaps even more exciting - thrill in store for us the following evening with  the Opera on a Shoestring company.
