At go cart club we played on the climbing frame and the boys chased the girls.
When the boys had got the girls in the prison then the girls chased the boys and it went
on and on like that. After we went into the porch and we got our boots on and went home.
Tom came to play and he stayed the night. I went to Ruth's for dinner. We had chicken drumsticks and rice. After dinner the
adults watched rugby and we played games. We did marbling and bubble painting at school. I
got a bumble bee sticker at school yesterday for my reading. Erin came for tea on Saturday, we had vegetarian lasagna and fritters. I went on a
cycle, I went to Joe's house on my bike and then I went to the school because mum was
doing the cleaning at the school. The plane is broken because it was struck by lightening
and we didn't have a plane for two weeks and we are now borrowing a plane from Orkney. My dad went to London, he went to work. Leanne is my aunty and she came to stay
for two weeks. In a couple of weeks I am going on holiday to Ireland. I am going to a
cottage and there is going to be a rowing boat. Last week on Monday and Friday we had school off because of the snow. It wasn't very very deep snow but it was quite deep in some places. I played in the snow a lot! This week Jenny and Magnus moved to Fair Isle and they are starting school full time on Monday. I was pleased that they moved here because it means I have got another friend here. After Easter my mum (Clare) is going to be one of the school cooks. Mum and Triona
are going to share being the school cook week about. A couple of weeks a go I went out to Shetland. We went to Harry's and I got some
animals and some balsa wood. We went to the swimming pool, I swam 6 lengths and did lots
of diving. We got some chips and a drink and went shopping. I did not think I would get
out but I did. I would have liked it more if I had got stuck out in Shetland and had a
Chinese meal and gone swimming again! A couple of weeks ago us school children went on a visit to the light house. We couldn't go up the tower because they were painting. We saw a lot of batteries and we went in the engine room. We went in a room where the fog horn is and Paul put the fog horn on when we were in the room. On Monday and Friday we were off school last week and there was lots of snow so me, Rachel, Lewis and Vivian went sledging down the Chapel brae. It was good fun and most of the time my sledge went without me because I fell off it! On Friday 27th it was mums birthday and she had a party. On Saturday I stayed over night at Burkle. We watched a film called Beverly Hills cop 3. It was quite good and some pieces were funny. After the film we went to bed - then me and Rachel had a midnight feast. In the morning we watched cartoons and played on the computer. We played 'Thinking Things 3'. Jenny and Magnus have started school. On Thursday it was go cart club and we played in the play park. We couldn't do our
go-carts because Dave is away. Hello.We are Magnus and Jenny Stout. We have just moved to Fair Isle from Devon in
south west England. We have just started school and we like it much better than our old
school in Ashburton . In Ashburton school there were about 216 children , 7 classes and
around 30 children in each class.We are 8 and 9 years old. We drove a van right up to
Aberdeen with the dog, the hamster and the furniture in the back. The P and 0 ferry was
very calm and we were all sick on the good shepherd. We really like living on Fair Isle. Where does the rhyme Humpty Dumpty come from?
