In the summer holidays we went on the Good Shepherd one Thursday for a day trip.; The boat journey was 4 and a half hours.

When we got to Shetland we went to the Peerie shop cafe. Duncan and I had a hot chocolate, mum had a coffee, Patrick

had a coffee then he went away. We went to Harry's toyshop. After that we went to Televiradio for a look around. We had lunch at Oslo's Cafe. Our next stop was to. Clive's Record shop.

We went to the Coop and bought some food then we went to the Raba to buy an Indian Takeaway. We walked to the Toll Clock Centre and had a look around then it was time to get back to the boat to go home. The boat came in early and we went home and enjoyed our Indian meal.

On the 16th of August we came back from holiday in Tobermory, Mull. We were on the same boat as some of the Norwegians. First we were over at Burkle. Marius was staying there the whole time. Aud-Helen was staying in my room, Ane in Rachel's, Hogne in Lewis's and Marius in Calum's. Ane stayed in my room some nights which was a squeeze but it was fun. Some of the activities we did included going to the beach and searching for different species of animals and plants, going to the bird observatory and going on a bird migration trip, games at the obs., sports club, sports day, dancing lessons, a dance and activities with the host families. When Ane, Aud-Helen, Hogne and I went over to Taft us girls were sleeping in the sitting room but some nights we all slept in the sitting room. It was fun. One day Hovart and Karl-Petter came with us for a picnic at the North Light house, we went into a dip in the ground. We all ate then we played for a while. During the time the Norwegians were here, at Taft we got a kitten that we have called Twist. It came from Setter. Liam got the other one. When the Norwegians went on the boat some of them went in the morning but our ones went on the afternoon boat. When they went on the Good Shepherd they were all waving like mad and yelling "BYE!!!" loads. Then the boat honked its horn which was fun, all the kids where; still waving even when they had past the breakwater!

I am missing them all and I hope we can go to them again or they can come here.
