Remains of war-time engine that powered the winch that hauled trucks up the railway track the last 200 ft from the Lower Station to the summit of Ward Hill

The winch is the one that at one time was used to haul the early Good Shepherds up the old slipway. It needed about a dozen men on long double handles to operate
