Marine biologist Riki Ott has fished commercially in Cordova, Alaska, for  ten years. She wrote Alaska's Copper River Delta (University of Washington Press) and is now writing a book about the Exxon Valdez Spill. For more information, please see Survivors of the Exxon Valdez Oil Spill.

If 78,000 tonnes of crude oil threatened Westminster the
government would be looking for action - they wouldn't be
waiting until the next time.

Neither should the community of Fair Isle.
