Fair Isle Area
Dry today but with low cloud, mist and fog at times. Some sunshine developing, the best in the west were it will be warm. Winds mostly light and variable in direction. Low cloud, mist and fog is likely to become extensive again tonight. Winds becoming a light to moderate E to SE’ly, perhaps fresher around Orkney.
On Wednesday extensive low cloud, mist and fog should thin and break at times with some warm sunshine developing, particularly on the west-side. Light to moderate SE’ly winds.
The latter part of the week and into the weekend is expected to remain mainly dry and settled. Low cloud, mist and fog will be extensive at times though with occasional bright and sunny spells, With light southeast winds the best of the sunshine is likely to be on the sheltered west-side. Feeling warm in any sunshine. Perhaps cloudier on Sunday with the chance of a few showers.
Little change is expected during the first part of next week but there is the hint of less settled and more changeable conditions by the end of the month with fresher SW’ly winds.
