Stewart Thomson of Shirva has very kindly donated his 106th spinning wheel to raise funds for the New Obs.
Made
from parts of the old and new observatory, this unique wheel is now being auction.
It carries a reserve of £300.

Cloudy today with a fresh NE’ly wind. A few well-scattered light showers at first, these becoming more frequent and turning wintry tonight, bringing the risk of some icy conditions.
Mostly cloudy on Tuesday, with further scattered wintry showers. Feeling cold in a fresh N to NE’ly wind.
Continuing cold and often cloudy during the rest of the week, with scattered wintry showers becoming more frequent for a time. N to NE’ly winds falling light.
Next weekend and into the following week is expected to remain cold, with NE’ly winds bringing further snow or sleet showers.
