Fair Isle Bird Observatory GuesthouseThe newly-rebuilt Fair Isle Bird Observatory re-opened to guests in May 2025.
The Observatory offers full-board accommodation from May to October to a high standard in the north-east of the island. It has a choice of single and twin en-suite rooms, with two disabled-access rooms on the ground floor and one family room - many with spectacular views. Accommodation rates include all meals. All rooms have en-suite shower and toilet facilities. Towels, bed linen and a few basic toiletries are provided. The Observatory lounge has a licensed bar, and e-bikes are available for hire. The Auld Haa
